Dr. Yves R. Personna
Dr. Yves Personna holds a PhD and a Master of Science in Environmental Sciences from Rutgers University, USA; a Master in Aquaculture/Aquatic Ecosystem Management from the University of Liege, Belgium; and a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy/Natural Resources Management from the State University of Haiti.
Dr. Personna currently works as the Project Manager for the African, Caribbean, Pacific – European Union- Natural Disaster Risk Management (ACP-EU NDRM) in CARIFORUM Countries Programme, in the Environmental Sustainability Unit of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB). Prior to joining CDB in 2016, he worked as Consultant/Expert in Agriculture, Environment, and Disaster Risk Management for various bilateral and multilateral organisations such as the Inter-American Development Bank, the United Nations Development Programme, and the United States Agency for International Development.
He has pioneered innovative research on monitoring and remediation of contaminated water and soils by organic contaminants at Rutgers University and New Jersey Institute of Technology, USA. He has also co-authored more than 10 articles in distinguished environmental journals including the Journal of Contaminant Hydrology, Environmental Earth Sciences, and Marine Pollution Bulletin, and also served as a reviewer for many journals
