Biography

Krisma’s unwavering commitment to preserving Grenada and the wider Caribbean region serves as an inspiration for positive change towards a brighter future.

Prior to joining the Six Senses family, Krisma was the National Project Coordinator for the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), a specialized agency of the United Nations that leads international efforts to defeat hunger and ensure everyone has regular access to enough high quality food to lead active, healthy lives.

With nearly a decade of experience in conservation, project management and advocating for sustainable practices Krisma has previously held positions such as, Global Environment Facility Project Manager at Sustainable Grenadines Inc., Project Coordinator at ECO Dive, PEW Fund
Shark Conservation Project.

In addition to her passion for conservation and the global environment, Krisma is a certified PADI Open Water Diver, and a certified Interpretive Guide by the National Association for Interpretation. She also remains a member of several affiliations, including the Caribbean Youth Environmental Network (CYEN), Grenada Green Group (G3), and the Gaea Conservation Network.

A proud alumna of St. George’s University, Grenada, Krisma holds a Master of Business Administration in International Business and a Bachelor of Science in Biology, where she majored in Marine, Wildlife, and Conservation. She also earned an associate degree in Natural Science from T. A. Marryshow Community College.

Self-care for Krisma is encouraging her young family to upcycle and create earth-loving arts and crafts at home. Her vision is to transform Six Senses La Sagesse into a shining example of sustainable tourism in the Caribbean.
