Biography

Wayne Elliott is an international development professional with strong project management, economic analysis, and research skills. These skills are complemented with experience providing managerial as well as operational and procurement support to research, business climate reforms, SME development, and clustering/value chain projects funded by multilateral financial institutions.

Currently, he is the Coordinator for the Innovation and Productivity in Caribbean Firms pillar of The Compete Caribbean Partnership Facility (CCPF). In this role, he holds responsibility for the management of approximately USD13mn in technical assistance projects that are earmarked to enhance productivity and innovation within the Caribbean private sectors. As such, Wayne holds responsibility for the strategic direction of the pillar and oversees the design, implementation, and monitoring of the frameworks that result in high impact projects which improve Caribbean lives.

Prior to this, Wayne served within the Economics Department at the Caribbean Development Bank. In this role, he undertook analytical work in a variety of thematic assignments and assisted the Department with project research, economic analyses, and reporting responsibilities. With Country Economist responsibilities, Wayne also liaised with government authorities and was charged with continuously collecting, monitoring, and assessing economic, social, and political developments in Anguilla and at the regional level.
